Video Recording Feature:
Step 1 – Choose a video recording format in the Star Button> Video > Video Recording Settings.
YouTube Normal Quality (Default)
This setting is optimized for Youtube's default resolution for video file uploads.
YouTube High Quality
This setting is optimized for Youtube's high resolution for video file uploads.
YouTube HD
This setting is optimized for Youtube's HD resolution for video file uploads.
High QualityMPEG4
This setting captures footage as an MPEG4 video. It guarantees a higher compression rate in comparison to MJPEG.
Normal Size
This setting renders the end video product the same size as the original footage. If your PC specs are low, this setting might cause your video to lag.
Half Size
This setting renders size of the video to half the size of the original footage. This setting will work for any standard PC.
Step 2 – Start recording by pressing the Page Down key (this is the default video recording key. If you adjust your settings, use whichever key you set recording to). When you start recording, you will see a red recording light in the top left hand corner of your screen.
Step 3 – Stop recording by pressing the Page Down key again. When you stop the recording, the location and title of your video will display in the top left hand corner of your screen.
Step 5 – Review your video. You will find it in your Combat Arms folder.
Optional – Set your video capture settings in the Options>Control section.
YouTube Uploading Feature:
*Note -- You will require a YouTube account in order to upload videos to YouTube. Creating a YouTube account is FREE and easy! If you do not already have an account, click here to create one.
Step 1 – Access the YouTube Upload section by clicking Star Button>Video>Upload to YouTube
Step 2 – Enter your YouTube ID and Password
Step 3 – Select the file you wish to upload to YouTube
Step 4a – Enter the title you would like for your video
Step 4b – Enter a description for your video
Step 4c – Add tags to so that others can search for your video. The more related tags you have, the easier it is for people to view your video.
Step 5 – Click upload. Your video will automatically upload to YouTube!
